Here comes a case from our customer.
There is a clothing warehouse with an area of 1,200 square meters and a height of 7 meters. The current indoor temperature is 25℃ and the current humidity is 80%. It needs to reach the target humidity of 50% within one hour. What dehumidification capacity of dehumidifier is required? How many units of dehumidifiers are needed?
Step 1, calculate the air volume of the warehouse, V=1200㎡×7m=8400m3
Step 2, check the moisture content of the air at 25°C, at 25°C, the saturated moisture content of air per unit volume is approximately 20 grams per cubic meter
| Relative Humidity | Moisture Content |
| 80% | 16 g/m³(20 × 0.80) |
| 50% | 10 g/m³(20 × 0.50) |
The amount of water vapor to be removed per cubic meter, 16−10=6g/m³
Total dehumidification capacity, 6g×8400=50,400g=50.4kg
You want to complete dehumidification in 1 hour, so required dehumidification capacity = 50.4 kg/h
Step 3, recommended solution: select 2 units of CFZ-30 industrial dehumidifiers (30 kg/h), which can reduce the humidity from 80% to 50% within 1 hour, and have a safety margin to adapt to fluctuations in the moisture source or interference from ventilation.
